​​​​Barbara Zarish, Senior Vice President of Marketing, actively provides over 20 years of marketing wisdom to our Clients.  Her international luxury hospitality experience includes senior positions with Rosewood Hotels, Registry, Fairmont and Auberge Resorts.​


Barbara Zarish actively contributes over 20 years of professional wisdom to IHA and its clients.  Her international hospitality marketing experience with five-star hospitality companies includes Rosewood Hotels, Registry Hotel Corporation, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and Auberge Resorts.  Having lived and worked in nine countries, her marketing expertise includes international positions within non-profits including sports, women’s groups, the arts, and the wine industry.  Barbara’s responsibilities with IHA include new business development and providing marketing advisory service to IHA’s bespoke clientele.​

Alphy L. Johnson, President of International Hospitality Advisor has over 45 years of international hospitality experience, and is currently teaching on-line at  Glion, one of the three leading Swiss hotel schools, and on-campus at the Boston University School of Hospitality Administration


Alphy's experience includes; C-Level positions with international hospitality companies, working and living in the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, developing/opening more than a dozen ultra-luxury hotels, being on the start-up teams of two hospitality companies, serving on the Board of Directors of a Middle East start-up company and advising Chairmen of three hospitality companies.

He has an MBA in International Hospitality Management, became the first hotelier to obtain LEED Accredited Professional certification, passed the C.H.A. & CAHTA exams and is a Six-Sigma Green Belt.
